His second years started looking better until shortened by injuries. He needs to come back in 2011 healthy and strong. He'll have a great target in Pro Bowl WR Calvin Johnson. During the last three seasons, Johnson has averaged 74 grabs, totaled 1,145 yards scoring 10 TDs. An improved defense led by Rookie of the Year Ndamukong Suh was the 6th best in the league notching a 10.48 percent record turning pass plays into either an interception or a sack.

The Lions started moving in a good direction after that dismal 2008 winless season. The following year saw a 2-14 record. And, in 2010, the Lions went to 6-10, with four straight wins to end the season creating a great deal of hope in Detroit.
