Watch the Carolina Panthers Online

Catch Derek Anderson teach young QBs the "way" when you watch the Carolina Panthers online this season. The Panthers inked a deal with Anderson who was cut by the Arizona Cardinals after the NFL lockout ended. Anderson should be happy to just have a job. He says he is ready to compete with the newbies for the starting slot.

One of those newbies is Heisman Trophy winner and the overall No. 1 draft pick - Cam Newton. For now, Anderson's role is to guide Newton and second year pros Tony Pike and Jimmy Clausen to get used to new Offensive Coordinator Rob Chudzinski's system. The best two seasons in Anderson's short NFL career were with Chudzinski in Cleveland.

Anderson made the Pro Bowl in 2007 after tossing for 29 TDs on 3,787 yards. He went downhill from there and signed with the Cardinals in 2010 but continued to struggle. When he was cut, he wasn't sure what the future held in store until he got the call from Carolina. The team's intention was to bring in an experienced QB, regardless his overall success, to help the younger QB squad learn the ins and outs being over center. He has stated he plans to push for the job keeping Newton, Clausen and Pike on the sidelines carrying clipboards and wearing ball caps.
